Change to Top Management and the Board of Directors
Year 2010 has in many aspects been a challenging year for the Wind Energy Industry on the whole and also for RewAir. RewAir has been forced to navigate in a declining European Market where we continuously have adapted our production and capacity.
RewAir has concentrated and optimized the Danish production in Nakskov after the company during the summer period had to close down the Haderslev production. The Spanish production entity in Ciudad Real has also been optimized so that RewAir is well prepared to meet present and future demands of European composite kitting clients.
RewAir has in 2010, and in accordance to the performance the previous years, been able supply top quality products and services to our customers. Going forward it is our top priority to continuously expand our excellence in quality, simplicity and delivery performance. This effort will go hand in hand with continuous developments and increased geographical presence.
Based on the fact that the business volume of RewAir in beginning of 2011 is less than of the previous year, Top Management and the Board have discussed and agreed on the best possible solution for RewAir going forward.
The conclusion is that Søren Laursen, Managing Director will resign as of 31st March 2011 to continue as Chairman of the Board of RewAir Holding A/S and RewAir A/S.
As of April 1st 2011 the Board at RewAir Holding A/S and RewAir A/S will consist of Søren Laursen (Chairman), Gert Uffe Nielsen (Co-Chairman) and Jens C. Rewers.
The Management in RewAir Holding A/S and RewAir A/S will of 1st April 2011 be Jens C. Rewers. Jens Rewers will also be the Solo Administrator in RewAir España, S.L.
RewAir has in 2009 and 2010 has simplified, optimized and quality assured all important work processes and routines. These changes as well as the state-of-art IT-system of RewAir will ensure that Jens Rewers and the organization will be able to manage the business and developments in an effective, safe and client oriented manner going forward.
We will ensure continuity in the relationship to our customers and suppliers, to prevailing development projects and to operational optimization projects as Søren Laursen will take over the role of Chairman of the Board.
